Residential Flooring Design
The finished look was created by assessing their existing solid ceramic flooring which was suitable and stable enough for us to sweep, prime and lay the levelling compound screed over the area. This ensured a completely smooth and flat surface was achieved so that the new kitchen could be installed on top of the screed, making sure everything was on the same level. Two weeks later, with the other parts of the refurbishment and painting complete, we installed the flooring, taking place over two days.
Opting for Amtico flooring from the Spacia collection in Hampton Oak, this beautiful design is achieved via a combination of a mid-brown aged oak base and dark woodgrains. Creating a classic, yet contemporary look, this low maintenance floor replicates the look and feel of real wood without the need for regular upkeep.
