Meeting the Client’s Brief

For this project, we worked closely with our client to plan their new flooring installation around all the refurbishment work that was taking place. This wasn’t the easiest of tasks because it involved each trade involved being present in the home at the same time. Flooring specialists often take up a lot of space when carrying out an installation, and there needs to be consideration for the drying time. Therefore, we needed to find a solution to keep the refurb schedule on track.

Residential Flooring Design

To cause minimal disruptions, we completed this job by working nights. It ensured the work didn’t affect the other trades onsite while giving us the space we required to carry out a high quality installation. This included priming and screeding the new concrete floor before laying beautiful Amtico flooring.

The final result was created using the Amtico Spacia collection, one of the UK’s most popular ranges. Choosing a Honey Oak shade, this flooring achieves the look and feel of natural wood without the maintenance associated with natural materials. Honey Oak is a mid-tone colour with golden hues and an authentic oak grain, producing a contemporary style which lightens each space.
