Meeting the Client’s Brief

On this project, our client requested something a little different for their new kitchen extension. They wanted flooring which would not only look attractive but contain a unique design. As part of our services, our experts offer a range of tailored flooring options, including bespoke laying patterns and interesting motifs. However, for this project, our homeowners opted for borders which add a personal touch and decorative feature to any space.

Residential Flooring Design

To create the look in their new extension area, we used Amtico flooring. We set it at a 45-degree angle with a one-tile border around all of the skirting boards and kitchen units, including the island. In doing so, it has brought more focus to the flooring, creating a stunning overall look. The attention to detail on this project made it one of a kind, working really well in their new space.

Amtico provide one of the UK’s most popular luxury vinyl collections, and our client chose their flooring from the Spacia range which offers simple designs with durable properties. This shade is called ‘Eden Oak’ which provides the feel and appearance of natural grains for a fresh take on a classic look. With a wear layer of 0.55mm, it’s both spill and splash resistant while lasting the test of time under any amount of traffic.
